Never Too Late for Summer

There's only a half month to go before we officially say goodbye to the summer season but hey, it's never too late to go to the beach and have the time of your life. Personally, my summer break had just started last weekend since as you may already know, I had summer classes. I've been away from the social media for more than a week just so I can focus on studying for my final exams and the qualifying exams for Accountancy students. And now that I'm back, I'm making the most out of it! :)

To get rid of the stress school had always brought, I went swimming with my favorite girls last Saturday at Macagang Business Center Hotel & Resort. We've been planning about it since the start of the vacation but weren't able to do so because of our own busy schedules. But finally, here we are together again letting the good times roll even if we weren't complete. (Kate, Mae & Ian, see you next time! :D)

It feels so good to catch up with these people. I won't forget the girl talk we had by the pool, I can't even imagine we would have that kind of conversation! I guess that just proves how mature we've all become from those good girls we all are way back from high school. And if it isn't enough proof, look at the pictures! Hahaha!

Anyway, here's what I wore before I dived into the pool. :)

Keep in mind that summer isn't just about luxurious vacations. What matters more is the company you have and the wonderful memories you make. You can enjoy the season even without spending a single cent if you are with the people who makes you happy. And, don't forget to have your much-needed me-time! In my case, I am so looking forward to pore through the pages of my beloved books and watch some korean dramas! Hee *u*

Lovely Laces

Finally~~~ After asdfghjkl years, I'm back to blogging! I sincerely apologize for not being a responsible blogger these past few weeks which is either because my acad life is consuming all my energy or I am way too lazy to do anything. Mehehe. But anyway, enough of the rants.

Here's a special Wednesday photoshoot with A-Fash way back November (I'm super late I know! Lol) with the theme laces. It was special because we had some members of the Oragon Photographers Association as our photographers. How cool is that? *u*

I was a bit surprised when I went to the shoot location because I was only expecting Mr. Xeres Gagero to photograph us. But then, there were two more! Good thing I was prepared! Hihi.

A Day in Polka

Good evening lovies! I am taking a break from studying and at the same time taking advantage of these few free hours to make a new blog post. I actually still have two late outfit posts but since exams are already next week, yes, I think it will be another week late. 

Anyway, I proceed with my outfit details.

This mullet skirt was originally a maxi skirt which I used for my summer-themed 18th birthday party. But thanks to my mom, it had its instant makeover! Hihi. And oh, I thank God too for giving me a mother who knows how to sew! *u*

Changed from a neon belt to this white one to keep the light colors of the whole ensemble (and to reduce the number of stares lol). Thank you so much to my girl friend Kim for letting me borrow her belt! :) Hi bebegirl if you're reading this! Haha! :D

Yes, I received a bunch of rude stares that day maybe because I am a bit overdressed for school. I also got compliments from friends which of course what matters more than the negativity. At the end of the day, optimism is the key to a wonderful life, right? In other words, Keep Calm and Keri Lang! Hihi. :D

Kawaii New Year

I know this is late but I wish you a Happy New Year guys! I still have one day left before classes resume which of course I will spend doing school works. And so today I am officially saying goodbye to the holidays (read: lazy days) through a comeback blog post! And oh, it's also my very first blog post of the year! *u*

This is actually the same outfit that I wore on New Year's Eve. But since the photos did not give justice to this cutiepatootie hoodie and because I am so bored, I decided to have some quality time with Baxter our camera and The Tripod just a while ago. Hahaha.

I'd also like to thank Kawaii Photography for letting me use their shop as my venue and for the balloons even if I did not ask for their prior permission. Lol. :D

My little sister gave me this Minnie Mouse headband as a late Christmas gift. She's such a sweetie, don't you think? *u* And yes, even if she get a few bucks from my wallet as payment, I still consider this as her gift and I still consider her sweet. Hahaha.

I am really looking forward to 2013-a new year to create wonderful memories and to make up for my mistakes. I am sure this is going to be a lot better than the previous year. And whatever happens, I will make it better than all the years I've had. I hope you will too! :)

One With the Earth

A-Fash's theme for the first week of December was earth tones-anything in hues of brown and green. As for me, this is the most challenging theme we had yet since I am not that fond of the color brown unless it's combined with pink. Nor am I a fan of green, unless it's bright and neon.

Wearing shades of brown makes me feel like I'm 10 years older, which is really far from reality. People always say that I'm the silent and demure type of girl and that I act like a lady most of the time. But to tell you the truth, I do prefer being immature and crazy sometimes than acting like a grown-up. Especially if I'm at home! Mehehe. :D

Oh yes, I'm wearing a top-to-toe thrifted outfit! How cool is that? :)

As what I always say, I'm not that much into accessories. Too much weight on my arm makes me uncomfortable. That's why I make sure that I wear outfits that are striking enough even without accessories so I always have an excuse. Hihi.

I am loving these finsk wedges which I bought from a thrift store in Naga. It adds more spice to my whole ensemble, don't you think?
